Comments: Nissan last year for the old body style (2006) The Sentra is reliable with decent fuel economy & so so resale value. From the outside of the Sentra it takes on the old Altima, & Maxima type of lines the car company had in 2000. Sentra kept that shape for 6 model years while the rest of the Nissan line up took an upscaled look. The interior is rather plain but, egomically very functional. You'll experiece near 40MPG for a broke in Sentra with standard transmission. You'll find the Sentra will not give you goose bumps while accelerating to 60 in 10 seconds no better, so it's not exactly thrilling to drive either. The best Sentra to be had from this body is the SE R Spec V. While it may have a harsh ride, it's a blast to drive with the Tuned Altima's 2.5 litre engine moving quickly to 60 in about 6.5 seconds. These are the last original Sentra. For 2007 Nissan rolled out a new Sentra taking on most of it's engineering from Nissan's parent company Renault. Basically the new Sentra is a Renault, as is the Nissan Versa, and many future models. Careful , do you research if you select any Renault products as they have not been on the market that long. Happy Nissan Trails. |
