Vehicle Description
Everyone loves Chevelles! Especially the legendary SS-396 models. Here is a super nice Super Sport that was just treated to a light restoration and Rest-O-Mod conversion. The rebuilt 396 motor is correct but not the one that came down the assembly line with the car. It features Jet-Hot coated headers feeding dual aluminum Flowmaster exhaust, 4 barrel carb, HEI electronic ignigion, and a fresh tune up. The highly detailed, show quality, chassis features power steering, CPP Hydro-boost 4-wheel power disc brake system, 18/20 inch Coy C-5 chrome wheels, Hotchkins front & rear sway bars, KYB gas shocks, and F-41 suspension. The 4-speed has a Hurst shifter topped off with a chrome knob. This car rides, drives, and handles excellent and is a blast to drive. It will stop on a dime and give you eight cents change! The stance is down right nasty! The body and paint are excellent! This is a solid car that did not need everything replaced. In fact, the interior still has some original items. It also has the full SS console, rare in-dash tachometer, and all the gauges. The carpet, seat covers, and power top were replaced. The rest is mostly original. It shows well and is quite comfortable. All the SS trim is intact including 69 only side stripe, dual bulge hood, and the correct square cut exhaust tips. This red on red beauty breaks necks not just turns heads! Most of the folks that visit our showroom say this is the best looking car in our inventory. Nothing beats a convertible 4-speed Muscle Car!
