Vehicle Description Up for sale is a extended Labor of Love, a very very fast Porsche! Built as a serious touring/show, "R Gruppe" car. Never tracked. Built from light weight, beautiful, no accidents, no rust, rare 1976 912E Carrera. Anyone who knows PORSCHE history knows the value of a solid 912E. Converted with a 1974 rebuilt 6 cylinder 3.0 Euro smog free motor. Motor and transmission rebuilt at a cost of $14,717.42. Both motor and transmission were COMPLETELY torn down and all parts were replaced with either new factory or competition parts. NO CHEAP AFTER MARKET PARTS WENT INTO THIS REBUILD AND "no stone was left unturned". Only a few hundred miles since the completion of the rebuild last year. Drives fantastic and has all the right stuff! Gets more attention than my 930 wide body! Many updates the last three years. I have receipts for over $32,500 which does not included anyones personal time. It has been lowered to about 3 inch clearance to the front spoiler dam and it has installed factory METAL SC fender flares. Brakes were changed to '85 Carrera (all 4) large drilled rotors, master cylinder rebuilt, brake/clutch assembly complete rebuilt, new rear wheel bearings, new trailing arm bushings and Club Sport engine mounts. Changed front torsion bars to 1986 Carrera 19 MM and rears to 25 MM. Replaced steering rack and installed adjustable rear spring plates. Installed 930 Turbo Tie Rods and new sway bar bushings. New Mocal Oil Cooler (19 rows, 235 matrixes) and Mocal Oil Thermostat. New Stainless Steel Oil Lines. New Weltmeister Short Shift Kit. Reset ride height. Just purchased ($636.99 which was not included in the total receipts) a premium Alpine stereo FM/CD/MP3 player which I will finish wiring when I complete this listing. The sound of the engine is almost too wonderful to cover up with music! Originally had air but it is not installed at engine to save weight and power. Interior is beautiful with factory Sport Seats. Dash is not cracked, power sunroof and mirrors works great. Has tinted windows all around. Originally a California car with no rust. Original paint color that's beautiful and over $3,182.32 spent on repainting the rear flares to match because of poor match after rear flares were installed, I just wanted everything about this car to be perfect when it was done so cost was not spared. It has 7" and 8" BBS wheels with new Bridgestone tires all around. Less then 500 miles on them. This car was built with all intentions of keeping not to sell but a job offer has come up and it requires me to move 1800 miles away. I have 8 cars and I am only keeping two. I have all sorts of manuals, build sheets and pictures of the rebuild and the progression it took. Time to thin the herd and move as little personal belongings as possible. It is being offered with a low opening bid and a low reserve and you can bid with confidence as I have 964 ebay transactions and a 100% positive feedback rating and that doesn't happen by accident. I have included everything I can think of at the time of the listing and I am ready to answer any questions as best I can. I will not consider any trades, I will not swap for 50 gallons of Vermont Maple Syrup and your first child and I am not interested in any money from another country, SO DONT BOTHER, I do not want to talk to any auto brokers either so don't waste your phone calls. If you have less then 5 positive feedback transactions on ebay, DONT BID unless you contact me first or I will cancel your bid and any future bids and report you to ebay, sorry I have to do this but there seems to be more and more dreamers who like to bid on nice cars and brag to there friends that they are "going to buy". If this offends any true bidders, I'm sorry but everytime a non paying bidder does this, we lose our listing fees. Good Luck, this is most likely the best car I have ever bought or sold on ebay and my loss is someone else's gain, it's a sweet ride!!! |
